Ate here after visiting the Truman Library. Good dogs, tots and onion rings. We had the bacon chili dog and my kids ate the corn dogs. We were all happy with our choices.
I don't usually eat hot dogs, but I wanted to try this restaurant. The staff was so friendly, and the food was great. Highly recommended.
Great variety of hot dogs and very unique ones. I had the chicago dog that was very good. Prices reasonable, and located right on the corner of the square. Quick service and very tasty.
The menu for The Up Dog is good and very different and the quality of the food is very good. I love the fries. The staff, however, leaves me not wanting to go back. They text on their phones while taking your order and don't even make eye contact with you. Employees from McClain's other businesses sit at the counter... 更多
Up dog has a lot of really unique flavor combinations for their hotdogs. I'm not a huge fan of the style of dogs they use because they have a casing that tends to be pretty tough, but they do have really good mini corn dogs and honestly, the absolute best fries I've ever eaten. The place is pretty small, so... 更多
My husband is a lover of hot dogs so he insisted we go in for lunch. Staff was friendly and answered our numerous questions. Allowed us to basically build our own dogs. All of the buns including the poppy seed are made of egg bread. Personal preference, but all three of us eating don't care for egg bread. We live... 更多
They have several different ways to eat your hotdog. Some ways I never heard about. Hotdogs have cassings don't like that. Plus just different. Won't go back. But if in the area try it. You might like it
We went here and tried several of the different hot dogs off the menu. I liked the ones with crunchy potatoe chips on the top! It's a very cool 50s diner style restaurant with booths and a barstool seating area too! It's right on the independence square so lots of shopping and dessert with in walking distance!
