located at the end of the pier in a beautiful old building. Amazing place to grab a cup of Joe and soak in the beauty!
I gotta be honest, I expected this place to be a tourist trap and a disappointment. What the heck is an Asian Cafe doing on a wharf? Why not a fish and chips stand? I stand happily corrected. My sister, niece, and I sampled 4 different dishes and we were all satisfied. The Seafood Spicy Thai Curry was delicious and... 更多
Kim's is only open from time to time -- often unpredictable. the wait staff are very nice. The food is mediocre to poor. American food and Asian dishes are served, but the Pad Thai and Vietnamese vermicelli salad I had on two different occasions were poor to mediocre, lacking flavor, texture and with only the rudimentary ingredients.
This one is a real surprise as it is located way out at the end of the historic Coupeville pier. We were moored on the dock and walked by Kim’s Café for two days with no sign of activity. I asked the dockmaster what the hours of operation were, but he didn’t know—it’s open when it’s open. Fortunately for us... 更多
My sons and I are pho aficionados. We've been to Kim's many times and find that their pho is as tasty as any you'll get in the Seattle area, including places like Pho Bac. At first, I was surprised by the quality "out in the boonies" until I realized that Kim is Vietnamese. The cafe does not have a huge... 更多
We love Thai food. Having it outdoors on Penn Cove just added so much more to the great meal. Good prices and service. Love the casual vibe. It didn't hurt that we had also just kayaked, renting them from who I believe to be the 'mama' of the whole operation there. Fun, fun, day.
My husband & I were visiting Whidbey Island. Our son-in-law was stationed in Oak Harbor in January and this was our first visit. We had been to the Lavender Farms and they wanted to show us Coupeville. We walked down the pier and found Kims. It was my husband, daughter and her husband and our 2 grandsons. The service was... 更多
Thus cafe is at the of a short pier. We had wanted to sit outside but it didn't look like there was outdoor seating. It was there....nice picnic tables overlooking the water. Food was very good and prices were excellent! Homemade clam chowder was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
