Classic old school steak house but delicious!! Very few do it like this anymore and I'm ok with that. One of the best steaks you can get around Dayton and worth the price! Very nice bar too
People in the Dayton area LOVE to "love" the Pine Club but honestly I will never go back. The steaks at The Pine Club are superb but the stale bread and awful service left us wondering what happened? While dining there for our 11th anniversary our experience was not pleasant and that is being gracious. The server smelled like an... 更多
Aside from the long wait, standing room only at the bar, and cash only, the food is pretty good. Unfortunately the older lady the served us was horrible. This is our second time (and last) having her as our waitress. She was rude, disinterested and honestly did seem to care if she had a job or not. Don't wast your... 更多
A Dayton long-standing staple. Steaks aged, VG but very salty. Famous 'stewed tomatoes' very sweet. An Experience. Be prepared to wait unless you go early. The bar will be three-deep all around waiting for tables.
Step back in time when you enter the Pine Club. No reservations, no credit cards, old world decor. But it's the best steak you will ever eat. Great stewed tomatoes - their specialty. The steak was perfectly cooked, so tasty and tender.
Tonight I had the prime rib. It was awesome. Usually I go there too late to get the prime rib but not tonight. The steaks are great and so are the pork chops. Service is always great. Love the pine club. House wine is good and reasonably priced.
First, the steak, hash browns and salad I got for a reasonable price was very good. In fact, the house chardonnay was good too. The restaurant has a north woods supper club feel and the food was good, but a little on the greasy side. When the check was presented, hand written, very old school, I plopped my corporate card... 更多
The Pine Club is a Dayton landmark and a traditional 1960's style steakhouse. The bartenders cannot be stumped. I hear that everything on the menu is outstanding, but in 44 years I've only ordered the Filet Mignon. I'm drooling just writing this review. The only place I've been that comes close is St. Elmo's in Indianapolis. If you ever are... 更多
I went here recently with a companion and we had very mixed reviews. My companion, being very enamored of old-style supper clubs, was over the moon. I would have been too, had it lived up to that, but, for me, it didn't. We both had watched the Food Network video and perused all the national accolades. That made for a... 更多
Though this is a smaller, older place and atmosphere, it has very good steaks. I had the ribeye and it was one of the best I have had. This place is a little on the pricey side but worth it every now and then. Some of the staff seem a little cranky sometimes, but manageable. Reminder, they do not take... 更多
