The coffee was ok, quite small. We had to sit at a table that hadn't been cleared, we were there for over half an hour.
Great seervice, nice space. I am a self-proclaimed "coffee snob" from Seattle, and this was the best cup of espresso I had during my week there. The baristas were also very helpful to these 2 tourists!
Came in here to charge my computer, get some work done. Most importantly enjoy a coffee. It looks small in the front but has a whole back area with a really cute shady outside area. Great for family's, or if you just want a quiet place to work.
You know when you go to a steak house, have a great meal, order a cappuccino to finish the night, and that cappuccino is terrible? The coffee at Cafe Grumpy IS that cappuccino. I work near Grand Central, where there are numerous high end coffee options (Joe's, Irving Farm, etc.), and a number of co-workers recommended this place to me... 更多
I simply had to pop in here because of the name. The place is small, in the style of a European coffee house, and they don't like laptops! Staff was friendly, my almond croissant was nice and crispy and my latte was one of the best I have had.
I went here regularly before my office moved downtown and I really miss it. They make great almond milk lattes and cappuccino. Great foam you'll never know it's not regular milk. Cute little garden area in the back at the Chelsea location.
One of the best places to have a nice cup of coffee in New York! Started by an Australian, this place has a touch of Australia. Coffee is prepared with passion and it shows up in the taste.
There is nothing to grump about here. The coffee is first rate and the snacks and food might be even better. There are lots of booths and tables. The art displayed on the walls is for sale. You will enjoy it! Get a coffee card and visit the other location in Brooklyn.
