Looking for a local deli in the upper west side and saw this on trip adviser. The pastrami was very flavorful. If you order the hamburger make sure you describe how you want he meat cooked since the tend to under cook compared to a mid west standard.
I called them from the Hayden Planetarium. I needed to know if they were handicapped accessible. I never got to ask my question. A friendly voice told us to come on down and then hung up on me. We ate somewhere else.
Ok so I wish they would refurb the inside of the Restuarant since I am pretty sure it hasn't seen a renovation since the 70's and the chopped liver isn't great and the sour pickles could be better, but everything else is really good. If you like piled high meat sandwiches --m kosher to boot! -- this is the place for you. Atmosphere? Feh. Excellent food and friendly service-- without a doubt.
