good food and plenty of it. I think it is open 24 hours. Also has alcohol. Fast ,friendly service. A neighborhood gem.

If you are in the neighborhood at breakfast make sure you try this place. Classic diner style but food much better. Crunchy French toast is excellent and make sure you get fruit with it. Wife had avocado toast which she loved. You will enjoy. A little more expensive than most but well worth it.
EJ's is kind of a New York institution with a great breakfast menu and a classic diner feel. We had excellent breakfast wraps and will have to return to try the sweeter dishes like pancakes and French toast. Solid bet if you're in the area.
EJ's is great. The clientele is a true cross section of life in the UES 70's, young and old. The food is reasonably good (the shakes are great) service is fast and they now accept credit cards after being a cash only spot forever. Sunday morning brunch you can expect a line out the door. We go there for breakfast... 更多
Stopped with three teens for a late breakfast/lunch. Server was friendly and attentive. We had omelettes, crispy French toast, and chicken quesadilla. All were quite tasty. We would go back if in front of the place at breakfast or lunch but wouldn't make a special trip.
One of our favorite omelette places in the city but not so fun to dine there. We typically order food in and it comes fast and is usually the right order. Eggs are fluffy and well prepared.
We stopped into this cute diner after visiting The Met and needing to duck out of the rain and get a bite to eat. I was starving and my wrap was delicious. The food was great and the prices were fair. Would definitely eat again.
Wether not we had tourist written on our forehead we most defiantly did not get ‘local’ service. A grunt when ordering, and food and water was somewhat dumped in front of us. Having been to many diners in NYC it seems that only locals get a different level of service. Was reluctant to tip more than 10%.
