Went here for dinner on my birthday. The staff were so sweet and attentive, I really had a good evening. I had a seafood pasta special, and my family had the lasagna special and shrimp and cappellini dish - all three dishes were well made with fresh pasta. We shared the apple torte for dessert and it was delicious.
We went for this place after the reviews but quickly realised it was a bit of a tourist trap. Food is ok but nothing spectacular. Pricey for the experience.
We enjoyed dinner here on Mother's Day. Service was very friendly and efficient. The food was good, but a bit on the expensive side considering the servings (but on par with NYC). The only downside was that the restaurant was a bit noisy and conversation was difficult. Among the dishes we sampled were a mushroom risotto, side salad, and chicken... 更多
Was recommended by our hotel concierge, super great suggestion! The menu is a little deceiving, looks simple with not much imagination, but the specials were amazing. My husband had the veal chop, and after dinner he said 'this was the reason he fell in love with veal'. I had the risotto, shrimp, mushroom, asparagus absolutely delicious. Make sure to ask... 更多
Had dinner with a few companions recently. Ordered a pasta and seafood special. When I tried to eat the meal, realized the scallops were not cooked. Returned to kitchen. Before dish returned, others had finished their meals. When dish returned, was half the size, and fish still not cooked. Not once did management check on my meal. Offered no compensation,... 更多
As a long standing resident of Hells Kitchen, there have been many restaurants that have come and gone over the past thirty years that I've been living here. Amarone is one of those few long lasting establishments and for many good reasons. First off, they know how to run a restaurant. Sounds simple enough but yet its not. So many... 更多
Recommended by our concierge, Amarone was a lovely last night in New York for us. Great food and attentive service, nice wine list, not too expensive food and good family atmosphere. Five mins walk from the Marriott Marquis.
Tried after the raves on yelp and did not disappoint. Quaint restaurant in great location. Service was very attentive and friendly. We both had the zuppa de pesce over black linguine. It was perfectly cooked, flavorful and bountiful with seafood. My one criticism is that the calamari was not cut thin enough making some pieces too chewy. Salad was not... 更多
This is a very good restaurant amid the bars and joints of Hell’s Kitchen, a bit away from the touristy crowded parts of the city. We had 11 people and started with 4 very good appetizers – two eggplant fritters, a sautéed calamari and a fried calamari. Although the server strongly and repeatedly suggested that we should order more appetizers... 更多
