At Penn Station and ordered my favorite Chai tea. Somewhat clean, very busy, but the cashier should be a little friendlier when dealing with other customers. Needed my fix.
Needed something after the train rides in from JFK and the Redeye and this was perfect place to people watch while we got our bearings. To loud for names the staff just put your order out there and you had to watch for it. Totally different than West Coast. Nice to sit for a spell after standing on trains.
Smaller than your average Starbucks. Very limited seating. But most ppl are there to grab a coffee and go. Located on the concourse level of Penn Station. There is a Starbucks on almost every corner. Its amazing how every one trains their staff the same way. My latte tasted the same over and over. Tip: Keep you cup in New York to use the bathroom with having to buy something each time
We love coffee plus stuff and like the cool Starbucks places. But prices are way too high, especially as alternatives are plenty and tasty as well.
