Authentic Indian food excellent in every respect. Have tried many Indian restaurants in Manhattan and this is one of the best and prices are reasonable.Also excellent for vegetarians.

Service was quirky but the food was excellent! The saffron prawns were obviously a popular dish as we saw several tables being served the dish. Flavors were good although the portions are somewhat on the smaller side. They cooked up the best gajar halva (carrot pudding) I have had in any Indian restaurant in the USA.
We ordered the special--appetizer, salad, main course, side dish, dessert-condiments and naan- All served in sensible portions in individual bowls on round tray with jasmine rice. Refills of water were slow and the restaurant doesn't open till 12 pm
We were a family of weary travelers looking for comfort near our hotel. We got a very nice Indian food experience with decent wait service. We left satisfied.
