These are the best sandwich I have tried so far. If you like BBQ, pulled pork and blue cheese the Twister Pork is one of the best options. If you are visiting Boston, this is a MUST visit place.
I don't normally give 5 stars but this deserved it. I got the chipotle pastrami and it was amazing!! It is probably enough to be split for lunch but I was a grown up about it and ate the whole thing. I can't wait for friends to visit so I can take them there!
Consistently excellent sandwiches. Best deli in the Boston area. You really can't go wrong with anything you order. Sandwiches are really large enough for two people.
Talk about a sandwich to tell your friends about. If I can make an excuse to eat "Sam's" I will. You better know any time our office caters or I'm hosting a guest from an out of town office we're going to Sam's. The food there is to die for, If I was on my death bed I would ask... 更多
Sam is one of those places in Boston that are super hyped and I still can't understand why! I've been in Boston for almost 20 years and I always heard local Bostonian making outrageous positive comments about this place. A lot of the reviews on Tripadvisor about Sam LaGrassa's also make the same claims. A lot of the positive reviews... 更多
We had to go here for lunch. I told my wife let's aim to get here at 230pm. We avoided the rush and the place had tables available everywhere. I had chipotle pastrami. What else can I say, it was the best sandwich I have ever had.
I really love sandwiches, and Sam LaGrassa's lived up to their reputation as one of the best. The meat and bread are incredibly fresh, the sauces compliment the sandwiches well, and there is plenty of variety. Additionally, we took a couple sandwiches to share for lunch and were easily full for hours. I highly recommend anything with corned beef or... 更多
The previous reviews were spot on....the sandwiches were delicious, wonderful pastrami, chipotle chicken and pesto chicken. The service is quick but friendly and location is ideal. The portions are fairly large so consider splitting and getting a side if you're in doubt.
I have eaten lunch here individually as well as in a catered-group setting. The sandwiches and salads are consistently good. They are quick and friendly too. This is a great spot for travelers looking for an informal, fast lunch spot in the area of Boston Common as it's a quick walk from there.
We tried to go to Sam LaGrassa's for lunch on an April Saturday in Boston. We were so looking forward to trying what we heard was the best sandwich in town. Too bad they are closed on weekends. We didn't get to try the food, but we did get to pay for a cab there. Shame on us, I guess,... 更多
My hubby & I split a sandwich that had corned beef & pastrami on it. The hubby is a bit of a corned beef snob and he LOVED the meat here. The sandwich was in the $12 range but easily enough for two unless you're super hungry. It's a small place so there isn't a lot of room to sit... 更多
Slow-cooked brisket and a thick sandwich equals happy family at lunch-time. Long line, but it went so quickly that it was not a big deal. Really, really tasty. Top lunch place in Boston, imo. So close to where the Freedom Trail tour starts, and a short walk to State House station. Worth it.
I had the eggplant sandwich and was planning to eat only half at lunch and the balance for dinner. It was do good that I ate the whole thing for lunch!! I could not stop...so good. My wife had the pastrami and said it was outstanding. Not the cheapest sandwiches you'll ever have but perhaps the best ones.
