Stopped by Pagliuca's for dinner. Started with antipasto of vegggies (cooked), cheese, and meat. Had a pasta, chicken, and shrimp in a red sauce. GO HUNGRY!! Portions were large for the price thus a good deal. Walked away stuffed and happy. Tables were tight but that would be normal in my opinion.
This is a wonderful restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is awesome. The antipasti and all the dishes everyone had were outstanding. They know how to cook. Make a reservation as it fills up fast. Casual attire.
Nice little place. Off the main road with most of the restaurants, so you might miss it. I wish the bread was served warm and was a higher quality. But good affordable house wine and dinner prices are reasonable.
First, the good news. Pagliuca's is a classic North End Italian eatery. So, five stars for ambiance. But. The tomato sauce is passable, the house red is served cold (!), it's incredibly loud, and, well, I don't know if I feel a compelling reason to return.
