Healthy dishes are tasty and offer lots of choices for vegetarians/vegans. Prices are reasonable, servers friendly, and local artwork decorates the walls. On second floor in Wall St. area. Only downside is the bathrooms, which need a key and require a walk down a desolate corridor outside the restaurant itself.
Cheerful but minimalistic decor with plants & local art. Kitchen is near front entrance, but the dining area is in the back. The sausage and sweet potato scramble breakfast plate was super delicious and a large enough portion for 2 to share. Servers seemed upbeat & on top of things. Oddity: no bathroom inside restaurant - must take key off... 更多
Early Girl lives up to it's name by being one of the few eateries in the downtown area open for and early "American" breakfast. I enjoy the old standby of eggs my way, sausage, ham or bacon, toast and grits or homefries. However, the menu at Early Girl goes way beyond that with even a breakfast salad special every day.... 更多
I've been lucky, I suppose, to have never had to wait for a table here. The service is always especially organized and friendly, and the food is interesting and delicious! There's usually a special twist to a familiar dish, which makes going there exciting for me. One of my faves in Asheville, and one that lives up to its hype.
Let the record reflect I am neither vegan nor vegetarian but I love, love, love Early Girl's veggie offerings. I read a review by someone who stated the items offered are 'not' unique... hhhhmmm... color me not equal to that reviewer's level of discrimination 'cause I think black-eyed peas for breakfast IS unique! Early Girl is one of those places... 更多
Food was delicious. Plan to wait for a table no matter what time you arrive. Coffee was not good, but if you are just getting juice, you're set. Mostly organic, but not did not affect price.
We were there for a quick dinner before an event. I loved all the choices of vegetables, especially the honey beets and broccoli bacon salad. Biscuits…very good! We had a table by the window looking down on the active street below. Would love to come back for one of their all day breakfasts.
One of the most popular restaurants in Asheville, early girl has something for everyone. we usually go for breakfast, as was the case this morning. There was quiche with shitake mushrooms, spinach potato cakes, chocolate chip pecan pancakes, and much, much more. This is quintessential Asheville. Small, intimate, rustic, and just swell. The wait staff are people you think you... 更多
Asheville has some amazing food spots but this placed topped them all for me. The shrimp and grits for breakfast was superb! My father ordered a pulled pork egg scramble thing which was also amazing. This place is a must try if you are in asheville.
I highly recommend Early Girl Eatery. When we arrived the place was just opening and there was a line to get in. At first we thought we were going to have to wait or go somewhere else, but they have more room then it looks. The service was quick and very friendly. The food was excellent. So many choices, so... 更多
Went here for breakfast before a day of beer tastings and we all enjoyed it! Interestingly decorated with a very friendly staff. Hipster place, but not too hipster. Food was delicious, eggs, omelets, pancakes the house jam in the squeeze bottle was very good too! Overall I would recommend this spot to anyone. BTW - you will have to wait to... 更多
You can't go wrong choosing this cafe for breakfast, unless you show up late. It's not unusual to see a line for this downtown Asheville cafe. One of my personal favorites for breakfast when I visit Asheville. I have never had a bad meal, and everyone I take with me, always enjoys it.
