There is better indian in sf than this but you come here to be fancy and impress and that is fine. kind of old school.
Nice location. If you think you have done enough excercises and burnt calories . You can go to this decent restaurant for a fat rich North Indian food.

This is a great place to have a nice Indian meal with great service. The nan bread was great as well , in my group chicken tikka masala, a number of vegetarian dishes and a lamb curry was also ordered , no one had any complaints and everyone loved their food.
Gaylord's serves Indian food somewhat more upscale than many of the Indian restaurants in the City. Dinner is a bit on the pricey side, but the lunchtime buffet, frequented by lawyers and bankers working downtown, is a real bargain.
