After a couple of weeks in the USA and few days in San Fran we wanted to eat something different from ribs, brugers and mexican food. After a quick search on tripadvisor in the Mission area we've decided to give a change to this Spanish restaurant which was a nice surprise! We had 5 different tapas (potato and onion tortilla,... 更多
Was very pleased with the quality and variety of food. We ordered a number of selections and all were very tasty. The sangria was superb. This is a nice neighborhood restaurant with fine food, well worth seeking it out.
Drove up to SF one weekend to visit a friend of mine. Because I told him I was craving for Spanish food (paella negra specifically), he took me to this place for dinner the first night we saw each other. It was a tiny place! Cramped seating and dark lighting. Menus came out and we ordered. Food was so good!... 更多
Great family restaurant, also nice for a birthday, anniversary or any kind of celebration. Affordable prizes and excellent authentic COMIDA ESPANOLA. In regards of location hard to find parking, but deserve the delicious food you are about to eat. Try mojos al ajillo and you would love the Sangria!!
Six of us came for a lunch of tapas to celebrate a birthday. We loved the food, especially the rabbit, potato tortilla and mushrooms. The sangria was perfect for the warm afternoon--Not too sweet. The only downside to this place is the horrific service. The waitstaff just never comes around. Plan on a long meal because you will be spending... 更多
Too bad we ordered to many starters olives, cheese (and ate too much bread) so we could not even eat half of the seafood paella that we ordered to share as a main course.
I'm from Spain and not easy to find in the Bay Area a Spanish restaurant with that level of authentic Spanish cuisine. I found Esperpento by accident and have a great surprise. In Esperpento the paellas are delicious and there is a variety of very well served tapas. The 30 min wait for the paella to be cooked, is worth.
I found Esperpento on trip advisor as we were going to visit San Francisco for a few days and I wanted to plan one special dinner. The reviews for Esperpento caught my eye, most especially since it seemed to be an out of the way, highly popular place for tapas. We invited some family members to join us so we... 更多
