It's run down, smelly and full of character. Bible quotes line the walls and people line the sidewalk. Popular place with lunches, sandwiches and ice cream/shave ice.
The staff was very nice and helpful with ordering. The food was just okay. I asked which dish was most popular and it is the Pig Plate. The portion size was enough for two people. The meat was bland and not well seasoned. The hamburgers were well received by my children.
Very large potions of pancakes, eggs with toast and rice with bacon or sausage. The food was tasteful, it seemed a bit pricey considering the accommodations are fair, lime a dive. The staff was very kind and showed my boys the sheep and goats they had on the grounds.
This place has the best BBQ. That would be called " Kaluha Pig". Very similar to BBQ back in the States, pulled pork. But with a Hawaiian flavor. Most of the BBQ places here don't even compare to this wonderful place. A true "hole in the wall" place very plain road side stop. But you have to eat here if... 更多
