Old fashioned saimin with a BBQ beef stick. Not curly noodles like the old days but the soup base will definitely satisfy you. If you're not from the islands but want to try some old fashion local favorites, you will find a good place to eat.
For those born and raised in Wahiawa, Shige's is a staple part of one's diet. Nothing beats freshly made saimin noodles and diner style food. Maybe it is pure nostalgia or maybe it is just simply comfort food.

Love, love, love this place!!! Best saimen I have ever had. It's a little hidden so make sure you ask someone if you can't find it... Hidden treasure.... Might be spelt "Shige's".
I really wanted a burger with fries but they don't serve fries. Waaaahh! So I settled on the teribeef plate.
