Nice food, virtually the only place to get food once you ascend from the the ocean. Nice museum next door.
A step above the typical national park lodge with a bit of a coffeehouse feel, but nothing special. Still, fully adequate for lunch and the only option around.
drove up to Waimea Canyon , drove up to the Lodge for lunch. The four of us ordered different meals and each of us was pleased with our lunches. I had the chili and corn bread which was delicious. The area is very pretty and was a perfect choice.

Stopped for lunch on our drive up the canyon. Staff was very friendly. We ordered the ground steak. It was pretty average. Kind of diner food. Bring a picnic if you can.
After driving the Waimea Canyon road to the end, and doing a short hike with views overlooking the Na Pali cliffs, we had lunch at Kokee Lodge Restaurant. I camped at the park and ate here a couple of times when the weather wasn't cooperating with my camp cooking. The food is great, the service is prompt, and the prices aren't terrible (even though they could gouge you as they are the only game at the top of the mountain). Just get the pancakes - with Lilikoi syrup. This is all you need to know. We saw reviews talking about the chili. He ordered the chili. I ordered the pancakes. Best pancakes we ever ate (did you catch the "we"). Tender and fluffy. And the syrup is arguably as good as or better than maple.
