Sandy's hands down has the best local grub... this has been a local favorite for 50 years.... make sure you check out the daily specials.

This place we found randomly. We were very surprised at how good the food was in this local place that we just had driven by and stopped at.
We went to this place which is just down the street from Donkey Balls Gift Shop and the store cashier recommended it, and was not disappointed! We each had the corned beef hash with eggs and bacon it was the best and we tried to find other spots that served this and was not successful! Highly recommend it! The service... 更多
We were driving down to Volcano, and saw Sandy's , and I enjoy local spots, so we stopped. We ordered shrimp burgers and fries. Delicious! The Moco Loco also looked great! Very eclectic menu with everything from burgers to bento plates. If you aren't too fussy about atmosphere, you will enjoy Sandy's.
We stopped in at Sandy's for a quick breakfast on our way from Kailua-Kona to Volcanoes National Park. We wanted hot food and to get back on the road. Sandy's met those needs. I had a scrambled egg plate with toast and bacon. My husband had an omelette and corned beef hash. The food wasn't fabulous, but we didn't expect... 更多

It's right near the laundromat so very convenient. We've had numerous breakfast sandwiches here. Always reliable, friendly, fast and easy in easy out. The menu is standard fare, very reasonable with a few local items we haven't tried but for a quick breakfast it's just perfect.
My wife and I had lunch at this primarily locals counter service restaurant. The food was fine and inexpensive. It is basically not a tourist type place, so the ambiance is lacking, but it is exactly what it tries to be....decent food for locals. I tried the loco moco.....it was fine. Would I get it again? Probably not, though there... 更多
