I haven't visited this place in at least 10 years! I can say that the potato ole is exactly as I remember - salty and greasy and overpriced. I still ate more than I should have! The people in the drive-thru were friendly.
We have eaten at a lot of Taco Johns & are usually hooked once again. Husband had super burrito & potato ole's. He said burrito was just okay but the potato didn't seem to be as seasoned as usually are. I tried street tacos which I'd never had before. Tasted like they'd been pre-made & were cold/chilled. I wish we had a Taco John's in our town! The ground beef in the tacos is real, not mushy (like others' are), and the hard tacos stay together. A really nice surprise!
My wife and I stopped on our way to Western Wyoming and were not real impressed. We have always liked Taco John's other places but this one did not measure up to the others. The food was so-so and the staff was clowning around in the back and being loud while we were eating. I'd drive on by to another... 更多
We ordered two dinners - one tacos, one quesadilla. We are not accustomed to Taco John's restaurants - but it looked grubby and the food tasted like bad elementary school cafeteria food. We threw it away and left.
We got there later at night and the cleaning supplies they had used was so strong inside it made me feel sick. Plus they didn't have all the lights on, and the people working the kitchen were screwing around a lot, but the food was fine.
This location did not miss the corporate e-mail about unloading an entire salt shaker on each order of hash brown/round potato thingys. Don't know why I even order those anymore. I'm also done with their guacamole. But the service was good, fast, and the tacos were tasty.
This was an ok dinner, although the employees had ordered "D" pizza, and it had just arrived when we were ordering. Almost wish I had gotten the pizzaa instead.
