Recommended by my Uncle Glenn Johnson and he was so RIGHT! Everything about this place is top shelf. When visiting the area, I always go here.
We enjoyed a very tasty Saturday afternoon lunch. The highlight was their Potato Pancakes....superb, a great compliment to the fried fish. Servers were prompt and very attentive.
It's no surprise that they have been around a long time, as the atmosphere and food would please most people. It was not stupendous but it was cozy and the waitstaff checked in frequently. We stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We were promptly shown to our booth, but our waiter basically ignored us until the hostess said something to him. when we arrived inside, it looked just like a restaurant that i visit in Glenview, Illinois. Same dark walls and same lighting. I could have given it a excellent but our waitress acted as if it was a bother to have to serve us. We normally go on weekdays and have one best waitress you can ever have. The breakfasts were very good though. I don't think it is asking to much for them do there job, if you don't like it... 更多
The options in Rhinelander are limited. We chose the Rhinelander Inn and Pub because their menu had a lot of attractive choices. Unfortunately the execution didn't live up to promise.
