Branco and Pat have left this landmark restaurant in very capable hands. The charisma and charm is still there, and the food is one of the best ethnic cosines around.
More than 35 years ago I moved to Milwaukee, and my sister recommended this place. I lived there only for 2 years or so, but now every time I visit, I go back to this place. I once took some friends there and they loved the burek so much, that they looked up a recipe and now make it at... 更多
This isn't a Mexican restaurant with high school kids cooking a frozen chain meal. This is real Serbian food cooked by Serbs....and it's delicious. If you are arriving after 6 PM, have a reservation -- before 6 you can walk in (at least on a week night). Get the chopped salad for sure. After that some nice pork meal or... 更多
It is a smallish room, and it was crowded when we arrived and is loud. We were seated right away. The house wine IS good. They serve Serbian beer, and that is also good. (they have a full bar also). We were 4 diners that all had positive comments about their meals... veal, chicken, pork loin...and something else...all very tasty!... 更多
Once again this is the VERY BEST restaurant in the Milwaukee area. We plan on eating here at least once a month at a minimum.
Three Brothers is a great experience--Serbian food in a place that was originally a Schlitz Tavern dating back to 1897. And the food is excellent. We had a party of six, and tasted each other's dishes, and all were incredibly good, from my Musaka, to the Ghoulash, Chicken Paprikash, Leg of Lamb, and Pork Loin. Different techniques and full flavors,... 更多
This eclectic restaurant has been serving authentic Serbian food for decades. It is a bit funky: formica tabletops, bent wicker chairs and a bar that isn't a bar (oh, and cash only). Having said all that, the food is wonderful, the prices very affordable, and the staff and customers friendly. For an genuine ethnic restaurant experience of the kind that... 更多
This is the BEST restaurant WE have been to in years. The VERY BEST. As you are well aware we have been to ALOT of fine restaurants. The service ( Michael) was PERFECT. The FOOD ALL three meals OUTSTANDING. Weinerschnitzel (spelling sorry, Duck , and Veal all 100% perfect. Salad, drinks, EVERYTHING was PERFECT. They never rush you. The meals... 更多
A group of us had dinner following the recommendation of a friend. Boureg was ordered ahead(it takes an hour) and did not disappoint. Don't miss it! The moussaka was yummy and Serbian salad delish. Goulash received rave reviews. The Serbian Kiss drink was also a big hit. Charming old fashioned interior and head chef who visited tables chatting with guests.... 更多
We looked forward to eating at this highly reviewed restaurant, as we love Eastern European food, but we were sorely disappointed. Our colas were flat. Our bread was stale. We waited 35 minutes for our first course. We waited 60 minutes for our entrees. The wait persons were very nice with their explanations. "The chefs make everything from scratch." "We... 更多
