We have to come here every visit to Seattle. The baked goods are incredible. They have a huge variety but no prices on anything.
Sluys has wonderful delectable deserts, cookies, baked goods and apple fritters, but the gingerbread specials just before Christmas were the best I have ever had. Lived in Poulsbo for 5 years and now just went back for a visit.
Well, the glazed donut, pecan roll, black Swedish bread, and pecan sandy were delicious. That's all we tried in on visit. We'll be back.
Been coming to Sluys since I was in diapers. Sluys and Poulsbo and Washington's Scandinavian heritage are inseparable. If you haven't gone here while in Poulsbo, you've missed out.
We visit the area often, one of our first stops is Sluys. Sluys is a must if your have a sweet tooth. A wide variety of donuts, pastries and cookies! All the staff members are very friendly! The bakery is extremely clean, no public restrooms or seating.
Poulsbo is SO cute! It looks like you stepped into a Christmas card. A quaint little seaside Nordic town. Sluys bakery is the perfect centerpiece for this gem. It wafts of baked fresh deliciousness. Their raspberry scones are my favorite. I highly recommend a stop by this bakery.
To walk inside is to yield to a wild craving for so many of their delectable offerings. As a diabetic, I have to forego my desires, although I occasionally will indulge, especially if I am with someone who will share my delicious bounty.
