This is a favorite for lunch hour. Great specials. Often not a long wait for lunch. Gets a good crowd for dinner.
We took the whole family here for our grandaughters birthday (her favorite restaurant). It was extremely good food. The chef was entertaining and fun for all ages. One of the best places to eat if you enjoy this style of cooking. I would definitely return next time I visit.
So I've been to a Sakura on at least 3 occasions, this being the most recent. It's fine, very consistent. The experience has been pretty much the same every time. Food is good, portion is large. It's a good place for a group or for kids.
Teppanyaki worth checking out! We at a full table on a busy Thursday evening. Always entertaining watching and listening to the chefs. Food was very good and loads of it. Not something you'd want to do all the time but I'll be back when I'm next out there for sure.
Fun teppanyaki experience. The chef was funny and entertaining and did some cool tricks. The food was so good. I recommend it. The restaurant could use a facelift, it felt dated.

The food overall was pretty good, the service not so much. I realize it's hard to get good service during the busy lunch rush, but every time I go it's been a similar experience.
We stopped by Sakura on our way into DC and was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful restaurant! We have visited many Japanese Steakhouses in the past, and Sakura was definitely one of the best! Superior Food, Service and our Chef was nothing short of amazing! Must Do!
once a month I have my Shui ; living in Japan for 3 years and raising my kids there and teaching them how to eat . one of my best place to eat.
