Diner was absolutely packed at lunchtime. Service was efficient and food was served hot. Good country cooking and very reasonably priced.

My daughter and I went to the Hub Restaurant for a quick dinner before her dance class. It was recommended to us by a friend as being very good. There was not a lot of variety of choices especially for a child. They did offer a daily dinner special with a meat and vegetables, which was a decent meal, but... 更多
... and good French toast. Hub is conveniently located at the local crossroads of Rtes 40 and 220, and caters largely to basic farm cooking. It cannot be termed "good" except that portions are filling and the food is recognizable. Beyond that Hub does not go.
I stopped in for a quick takeout lunch. Had a hankering for a Tuna Melt. The rye bread was thick but light and toasted just right , however the cheese and tuna were sparse. The people at the Hub are always friendly and upbeat. it has a hometown feeling , which I like and it is good for a family get together. will be going back.
Whenever I return home I make sure to stop at the Hub for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. For breakfast get the biscuits and gravy, for lunch get one of the specials or a combo club, and for dinner try the country ham! They also have the BEST sweet tea! This is a great place to eat breakfast with country style home made food. The staff is worth the visit, even if the food was only so-so. But you'll taste duds will bring you back. Try their morning special. If you want home made cakes and pies, they have some of the best.
Local favorite. The food is fine - nothing fancy. The service is excellent. Get the catfish fillets, if you can (they go fast) and the pie. Biscuits and gravy are great too. Ham is VERY salty. Veggies are pretty good too.
