It's good to do work at. It has a nice ambiance and lots of options for coffee. The baristas aren't that friendly and it's a little pricey.
Visited twice while in town on a weekend. They were busy but not crazy. Coffee was good. Staff was not friendly either time. Would go somewhere else if you want atmosphere.
Dropped in for coffee & tea on a Friday morning. Atmosphere welcoming & homey, barista friendly and mixed a great vanilla latte-seemed to have their usual "hometown" group (but they're usually fun/funny). I would go back and recommend you give it a try!!! Great way to start your day! Carpe diem!!!!
We made a coffee stop here on our return from a ski trip. It was a great stop. The coffee was unbelievably good. My only regret is not ordering the largest possible offering as we took ours to go. The tea and coffee was great and I loved the nice touch of the mugs regulars leave there so they always have their own personal cup.
For a place to take your time savoring coffee, chai, or a little snack, Lexington Coffee is really better than any Starbucks. The prices may be a bit higher, - and the coffee perhaps not quite as bold -- but the place exudes small-town friendliness and good service. I like it for early morning.
