A very quaint coffee shop. If you are looking for espresso this is the place to stroll into and stay for the people watching.
Ride your bike from the Tides, grab and coffee, muffin and a newspaper. Reasonably priced, quick and easy, much better option for those staying at the Tides
My husband and I patronized The Local restaurant for breakfast. The staff were very pleasant, and I can see that the restaurant is a location where Irvington residents like to come to the restaurant to socialize. Very friendly atmosphere.
My family and I have eaten at The Local at least 30 times. It is a decent coffee shop for a small town. Not Portland, Seattle or Richmond quality but still they do a nice job. The muffins and toasted bagels are very good. The cappuccino and latte are above average. IMHO, the coffee is below average for real coffee... 更多
The Local is a place you want to return to, time and again. The food is great, the atmosphere is both quaint and casual. Service is fantastic. I recommend it very highly. It has become a Sunday morning ritual for me and my friend.
We rode our bikes in town for breakfast, this was the only place open. it was not too busy and there was apace to park the bikes. The food was good not special standard breakfast stuff, but it hit the spot. Service was ok, not too friendly. Too many flys, not sure they can do anything about it.
First, let me start by saying that a 3-star review is not a bad thing. It means that the service I receive is what I expect from the establishment I visit. We are building a house in the area, and when we stay overnight, The Local is where we have breakfast. The food is great, and the staff is always... 更多
Great menu with a large selection of breakfast and lunch items. The staff not willing to stray from the menu even when I was willing to pay additional for an item. This could have been an opportunity for me to positively review another item on the menu. Instead, I was unable to even try it without ordering the entire sandwich.... 更多
A hot July morning I walked into town from The Tides Inn where my husband was attending a conference. Ordered an iced tea and sat on the front patio sipping my delicious tea and reading some local visitors brochures. Very pleasant even in the summer heat. I started back inside to find out if tea refills were free, but stopped... 更多
