Stoped here for breakfast in our way to visit our friends. All of our food was SO good! Service was fine - I think staff prefers locals over 'tourists', but food was still awesome & would go back.
Situated in an old country store building on the Main Street, the cafe is a delight. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. It is obviously a popular local eatery as well as catering for tourists. Very reasonable prices and well worth a visit.
This is a great little cafe in the Rte 100 valley. We almost always stop here for lunch when we get a chance. The food is always fresh and home made. My favorite is the soup/sandwich combo - with the gazpacho and any sandwich with avocado. Sitting outside in the summer you feel like part of the small VT town... 更多
The food is wonderful. We have eaten here a number of times and have never had a bad meal. It is a family-friendly restaurant run and managed by members of the community. There are many local choices.
We had been out all day and were in need of a coffee/tea break. We only wanted a cake rather than a meal as we had a restaurant reservation for that evening. We shared a very large cinnamon cake which the waitress suggested she warmed for us - this made it even more delicious and we would have called in... 更多
This little cafe in Rochester was one of the highlights of our trip to Vermont. It was like traveling back in time -everything is homemade and the waitresses funny and welcoming. The building is old and on one side is a little gift shop. We had a little wait for lunch so we browsed around. The food was great -had... 更多
We called in to this vintage café en route around the Green Mountains. Great selection of coffee and cakes. Caramelatte was delicious but far too sweet for my taste. Good selection of fall themed gifts and sweets in the adjoining gift shop.
Gotta say, I was a bit disappointed after all the great reviews. We arrived at 4:00, hungry, hot and tired. The waitress took our order but seemed disinterested. I asked that the "grilled onions" on my corned beef sandwich be well cooked as I disliked them crunchy. Well, I should have saved my breath. The onions didn't look grilled at... 更多
Situated in a converted historic general store that was reportedly the first gathering place for Rochester Vermont in the early days, this cafe still retains the casual, rustic and warm atmosphere that befits a quintessential New England town. The food is fresh and delicious. If you have to wait for some time for the dish to appear in front of... 更多
