Super-Americanized version of Chinese food. Not super tasty at that, you are better off going down the street to Pei Wei. Even Asian Star is a better option.
Chin-Wah has pretty average Chinese food and it's pretty good but my favorite menu item is the ground round dinner. It's in the American menu section. The portion is very generous and comes with grilled onions, gravy, mashed potatoes or rice and a veggie. When I'm not sure what I want for dinner this is my default, and it's always... 更多
Hadn't been here since last May of this year. Went here with friends from California. I had the letter E meal - sweet and sour chicken (had mine with gravy instead of other sauce), ham fried rice and chicken sub gum chow mein noodles...onions, celery, almonds. All very good. Also had egg rolls and hot and sour soup. You have... 更多
Our first visit to Chin-Wah was a very good experience. We were seated promptly and a waiter took excellent care of us. I tried the pork chow mien, which I have never had before, and I thought it was fantastic. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the large portions. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the nice atmosphere of the... 更多
The location is a bit odd, but once you find the restaurant it is worth while.' I had the Phoenix chicken which was quite good with a nice quick and very flavorful. The wonton soup was better than average.
I agree it is not the best Chinese food in the Salt Lake Valley but but the price and quality are good enough to keep me coming back. My favorite dishes are General Chow's chicken or the almond chicken. I will say their egg drop soup is as good as any in the valley
It has been years since I have been to Chin Wah. I used to go to their old location and I remembered it being just ok. I figured that since they have invested in a nice new location it would be better. I was wrong. The place does look nicer, but 1985 called and they want their menu back. The... 更多
Skip this place if you want at least partially authentic Chinese food. It's not even good Americanized Chinese food (which I would classify Pei Wei and PF Changs).
Flavorful dishes but the meat dishes are VERY short on meat. Tried the restaurant twice but most likely not again. That's a shame because the restaurant is so close and has an acceptable ambiance.
