They were out of part of the luncheon special. We truly enjoyed out fried chicken and fries! It is in the back of a gas station.
It was Friday night and finished hunting early enough and was excited for their weekly Friday night fish fry special. It was disappointing from the moment we arrived. Fries were cold and old. When they finally brought out some more, they were cold too. Fish had been picked over, was cold, and spare choices. It looked like seconds or left... 更多
We had breakfast there and it was delicious, reasonably priced and generous portions. Don't be put off by it being inside a gas station. The biscuits were like my grandma's.
A small place, tucked behind a gas station, easily missed if driving past. The food has been good the several times we've stopped in for lunch. Many locals eat here, as it's both fast and tasty. A nice option to have in the Stonewall area.

We were referred by the crew at the Fat A** winery, and they didn't steer us wrong. Our teen aged kids and we enjoyed the food - chicken strips, a burger, mandarin chicken salad and beef fajita wrap. All were very good and worth the small wait, as we arrived at a small rush of customers.
The Stonewall Diner serves some pretty good food. The burgers are very good, lunches are also filling. Things can be inconsistent which is disappointing. It will be very good to not so good at all. Friday evening Catfish Fry is a perfect example of good to great or not so good at all. Eating quarters are crowded.
