This is one of the best places to visit in south Texas. The best time to visit Clayton's Beach Bar and Grill is during Spring break and all Summer long. Open bar with ocean view. Food, beer, and fun. No cover.
Claytons is the biggest beach bar in Texas. Its huge and has a large patio area facing the sea. The water in the sea is the perfect temperature and the most gentle yet fun waves. We enjoyed hanging out here and playing in the water!
We love this place because of the public beach access/showers/restrooms. The first day, all we did was park and lounge at the beach all day.. The second night, we ordered food, listened to live music and watched the fireworks. My little guy (2 years old) enjoyed his chicken fingers and fries while watching the fireworks. I on the other hand,... 更多
This place used to be cool when it first opened but now it's ridiculous...charge people to access a public beach!!! They closed on a Thursday night at 10 but they claim to stay open until 2 everyday...the nickel and diming of the tourists and the inconsistencies of their hours are enough to keep us away...Clayton's is not a place we... 更多
It was a fun place to hang out while waiting for a 10 minute firework show. The fireworks alone might not be worth a drive but the live music and food make it worth the trip to Clayton's. My young girls 4 &6 had fun dancing eating and watching the show.
We made Clayton's our last stop the night before departing the island. We went here after dinner so we did not have anything to eat. It was dark so i could not see the beach, but the breeze was fantastic. This place is lots of fun if your looking for some live music and drinks (even virgin drinks were good).... 更多
Went here to see Kevin Fowler and whiskey D perform. Great security on site, we felt really safe. The drinks were good and we didn't eat, but were entertained by a fabulous fireworks show prior to the concert beginning. The seating is really good, but we upgraded to VIP to avoid waiting in line and then got better drink service.... 更多
Drinks are large, tasty and strong. pricey but you get your money worth! Live music and large outdoor dance area. view of the beach and beach volleyball. Most customers are in swim suits. Many PG13 and above. Seems fun for adults, not really meant for kids/families. okay for older teens. Food was okay. Not great, not bad though. We had... 更多
Ever since visiting Claytons in South Padre Island,it has beena constant for guests we bring from all over the United States. The food is good, the beverages and usually good music. With the exception of a Monday afternoon recently, when some rap music was on featuring curse and foul language you would not want any one to say in public, much less let... 更多
Went with family on several occasions. The food is hit or miss, some good, some not so good. Hamburgers seem to be the best, fajitas are better at many of the Mexican restaurants on the island and RGV. However, with the music and fireworks, there is still a lot of fun. As for the drinks, they are pricey, but considering how... 更多
