The food was really good and not really expensive. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded, so we didn't wait long for the food. It is really close to the port and easy to find.
When I'm staying on Bolivar, this is where I go for Mexican food, especially migas for breakfast. It's off the main road so the people who go there -- mostly locals -- aren't just passing by; they are going there to eat! A staple of Bolivar dining.

I've sampled several dishes here, all have been very good. Food arrives hot and fast and bursting with flavor. The service is more than adequate. Drinks refiled timely. I'm a repeat customer and will continue to be so.
We took the Ferry from Galveston and drove around Port Bolivar for awhile. It was lunch time and we were all hungry. We stumbled on this small restaurant and we were glad we did! Stopped for lunch after taking the ferry from Galveston. My wife and I shared a chicken fajita tacos plate, which included a choice of corn or wheat tortillas as well as rice and beans. There was plenty of food for the two of us.
