It's gotten to be hit and miss with Furr's. Yesterday was a miss. The service was bad. I guess because it was past the regular lunch time run but that should never be an excuse. The food was barely ok and the rolls were cold.
Stopped in to Furr's for dinner. Definitely not what I remember in cafeteria cooking. Food was tasteless and warm. Nothing was really hot. Vegetables were all overcooked and most of dishes were fried. Desserts looked pretty but had no taste at all. Needless to say we did not eat most of the food and left feeling pretty disappointed.
Same as all the other Furr's Restaurants. If you need a place the family can all be happy then, this is it. The best thing about the menu is the dessert bar after the cashier. The cherry cobbler with ice cream is tasty!
Come here once in awhile, the food is half warm ,Not . Well tonight food is cold , Furrs get a dam hot lamp new one . Invest in heat .. I like my food hot . And no ice . You won't miss our business. And that's okay . Won't come back .
Food was not fresh, was barely warm. It was right after the lunch hour so the food was not replenished or replaced for freshness. I do not like to eat when the floors are being swept around me. It would have been best to close an area for cleaning purposes.
Food was good, service was fair. If you want to relive your high school lunch hour then this place is for you. In fact I felt like I was sitting in the cafeteria in Animal House and waiting for the food fight to start. I have to admit I enjoyed eating here.
