Best Sushi, Japanese food in the area. Well run, well organized and a money making machine. Lunch or dinner, Blue Fish is always busy. Don't worry, you can always wait for a table while enjoying one of the bars. Try the Ahi Tower. It's my favorite sharing plate. Sushi and tempura are excellent.
We had the pleasure of eating here for lunch. We ate at the bar because the wait for a table was a good 20-25 minutes. Great decor, fast service and delicious! I got a kick out of the TV's being tuned to fishing shows. Made me uncomfortable staring at my food!

We go here regularly and there are a dozen Sushi Chefs working continuously. Crab Stack and Lobster Roll are Great. I love the spicy piñata roll. The wife loves the black caviar and their dessert called the Berry Tower with cinnamon ice cream. Bar scene is packed during Happy Hour. Note there is a separate entrance for a second bar.
Nice atmosphere and a good sized crowd for a Wednesday night. They have quite a large sushi bar with several chefs working. The problem was that the quality of the rolls I had was average. They fell apart pretty easily and the flavor was just OK. The sashimi was above average. The prices were a little high for the quality.
Texas does not conjure up images of zen-like calm and neither does it make one think of sushi. Staying out in Irving and tired of steak / southwest food I had a need for the comfort of fresh salmon sashimi and a shrimp tempura roll. Should have had another steak.
