We drove from Shreveport and this was the first place we ate. It is always worth the drive whenever we are in the DFW area. Very fresh and they all taste great. Small dining room and hard to find diamond in the rough!!!!
My husband & I sampled 8 or 9 of the 18 empanadas and they were fantastic. Simple concept: 18 different empanadas ($2.99 each in Jan. 2017), some savory, some sweet, and beverages (and complimentary cups of water) -- that's it. On the sweet side, both the Nutella/banana and the guava/cheese empanadas were just plain heavenly. For the savory, the chicken,... 更多
My boyfriend and I stopped in this place right after our plane landed at DFW since we needed a bite to eat. This place was amazing and I highly recommend it. The lady working there was very friendly and chatted with us during our meal. She mentioned that the cooking is authentic from Argentina and taught us a little about... 更多
I was in Dallas for a conference and we found this place on Yelp. These empanadas are amazing! Filled with delicious ingredients that made my stomach so happy. I got the pulled pork, spinach, and cheesesteak empanadas. Three is definitely the way to go. The atmosphere is great and great service too. When I'm back in Dallas, I'll be visiting... 更多
This is a neat little place that you might drive right past and not notice. It's in the middle of a non-discript shopping center. The Empanadas are EXCELLENT. The service was very friendly and quick. I don't know what the sauce is that they give you, but it is really good! I'll stop back next time I'm in town.
Remember dropping in to visit Mom when you knew she'd be cooking your favorites? If those times were enjoyable and memorable, then you really need to stop by Empa Mondo. Engage with the very friendly and talkative Owner/Chef (always on duty); select from a wide variety of meats and deserts; relax in the small, intimate kitchen-like dining area; and indulge... 更多
The empanadas were very flavorful and the ladies were so friendly and welcoming. Several varieties from beef, chicken and also dessert types.
What a great place. I was looking for Mexican food and almost didn't go in. So glad I did. The food was delicious. The people who run it are wonderful. I even got a song on the guitar from the owner. Go grab yourself a bottle of Malbec wine (BYOB) and come on in you won't be disappointed.
