Very lovely little Sicilian Restaurant. Nice atmosphere and absolutely wonderful food. We will return.
Don't be fooled by the houselike modest exterior; as soon as you step inside you will be transported to a wonderful Sicilian experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, intimate, even romantic if that is your objective. The waiter was authentic to the theme, extremely friendly and provided helpful advice on menu items (there is a very extensive menu). The food was... 更多
First, this restaurant is in an old house. Each dining room is a small area that only holds a handful of tables. I originally started coming here in the 70's and was pleasantly surprised to see them still going strong last week. I was returning from the medical center, saw the restaurant and told my wife we needed to try... 更多
This little house of a restaurant has been in Houston since the 70s, and still has the BEST authentic Sicilian/Italian food. It's a really quirky place but that adds to the atmosphere in my opinion. Come hungry and come with plenty of time. This is not a place where they rush you.
While in Houston, I wanted to try something other than Mexican, Seafood, or BBQ. I found this little gem within walking distance from the medical center. The price, portion size, and service were all exceptional. I will definitely be back!
This is an amazing restaurant near the huge hospitals in Houston. Truly a step back in time where everything was made from scratch. Italian operas were playing in the background and the various kitchen aromas wafted about. Be sure to have the house red and bowl of Minestrone. You will forget why you are in the Hospital district. I went... 更多
We live in the neighborhood and finally decided to visit this restaurant which has been around since 1975. We were pleasantly surprised. The outside looks like an old two story house that needs painting. Parking in front and the rear is an interesting challenge, but not to worry. The owners have arranged for you to park at the car wash... 更多
My husband and I enjoyed a celebratory dinner at this wonderful Italian restaurant. The stuffed mushrooms and calamari were excellent. My husband ordered as his entree the Shrimp Scampi while I chose the Veal Scallopini--both choices were excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant for its outstanding cuisine and service! The ambience is superb!
Was not sure when I walked in as the building is a little dated however crisp white linen, great salads, salmon dish to die for with a side of spaghetti and garlic bread. Too much food but ate it all. Prices very reasonable. Value very good. Stayed three hours chatting and eating. Waiters friendly and service attentive. Thank you!
