Great food and reasonably priced. As soon as you walk in the wood fire grill smells fabulous. Old fashioned salad bar was a welcome surprise and fully stocked with goodies.
I enjoy this steak house for the salad bar, watching my steak/chicken grill by the chef, and the baked potato with all the fixings. This location has dim lighting, which I personally do not like. Luckily, I was seated at a booth with good lighting. The food was fast. Bread was served while I was waiting of my meat. In... 更多
By far the WORST STEAK HOUSE I have ever encountered anywhere in the U.S.! The service was atrocious! The waitress literally "threw" the basket of bread on our table, I am not joking, "threw!" Okay so maybe she had a bad day, but it got worst. We were really in the mood for a good steak dinner and willing to... 更多
We visit here quite often because of the consistency in the steaks and service for the price. Not the fancy place most people want however worth every dime.
Entrance has a fire place mantle with all these dolls.... DOLLS! Is this a steak house or my 83 year old great aunts house? - Ordered Filet Mignon, which was tough and full of gristle; out of four bites, only one was swallowed, the rest was spit out because it was like chewing gum. Ordered banana pudding for dessert, nothing... 更多
You need to visit for the experience. I felt like I was in another place and time relative to the other businesses in the area. The salad bar was very good, and the other food was good too. Our server did a great job. We never had to wait too long for anything, and he was very friendly.
Have been dining here for about 25 years. Noticed over the last 2 or 3 years that the service is becoming spotty and the steaks are over or under cooked. Last night, the server was very personable and actually talked us into purchasing a $24 steak instead of our usual $12 steak. Ordered mine Medium and when he finally brought... 更多
My wife and I visited at lunch earlier this week. We had been here before and it needed some serious updating, especially the seats in the booths. They have done some work and it is improved. Now, to the food. When we parked, we could smell the fire pit before entering. It's not unpleasant, but, it is unusual to be... 更多
I have seldom heard of a review that says that "everything tastes great", but this is one of the few that you can enjoy. Dunston's on Lovers Lane (just east of Inwood Road) is a true historical place. It has been there for a "thousand years" (actually about 50 years!). It has a serve yourself salad bar. Basically that means,... 更多
This place has been around forever and so have the people who go there. Nothing here is terrible, but it's also not sublime. It's just pretty predictable. The nice thing is that this is a Dallas staple and they really work hard to keep up standards. It's no Pappas Bros or even Trulucks, but the service is decent and it's... 更多
