A bit more family than it used to be but still outstanding Tex Mex in the lovely Highland Park Village. Highly recommended. Very tasty! Can be very busy!
There are places in the neighborhood that you tend to take for granted because they have been around for so long. Also, walking through Highland Park Village is part of the overall attraction--some Tex Mex, followed by shoes from Jimmy Choo's and jewelry from Harry Winston. We took a daughter and her out-of-town date to give him a bit of... 更多
Oh, the culinary joys of Mi Cocina in Highland Park Village! When you first sit, the chips and salsa are unforgettable...I am powerless against them. So good! I've tried almost everything on the menu without regret, but recently I'm stuck on the #2 Combination plate: an ample beef taco, cheese enchilada, and a luscious soft cheese taco. On a recent... 更多
At this plaza we had two main alternatives: a grill & pizza place and this Mexican restaurant: Mi Cocina. We went for the second one and were not disappointed. Good size plates for lunch, quick and friendly service, food quality above average.
I had a chicken spinach salad and it was very good. Our waiter was nice and friendly. I just didn't like hostess at the door cause she was trying to give us worst table in the restaurant but we refused to sit there, we didn't mind to wait a couple of minutes to get a better table..
As a Dallas staple- Mi Cocina is a must visit, especially must order a Mambo Taxi. Check out the Monkey Bar upstairs if you are looking for just tapas and drinks.
This place is awesome. My husband is sure these are the best steak fajitas he has ever had. Very fresh and reasonably priced. Service was quick and competent. We would definitely go here again.
Our family ate here on our first night in Dallas last weekend. Fairly close to drive to from our downtown hotel. Both street and valet parking are available for patrons. There is ample dining space, and we had fantastic service for both drinks and dinner. The menu offers a wide variety, and the turn-around time from the kitchen to our... 更多
My daughter took us to this Tex Mex restaurant since it was close to her place. The restaurant has quite a cozy environment giving it some classy style. We were waited by an very nice gentleman and very prompt. His service is very clean, bringing food, even the salsa sauce in a tray and handle dishes minimally with his hands.... 更多
My husband refuses to eat Tex-Mex in NYC as he doesn't believe it lives up to his Texas roots when it comes to "real" Tex-Mex. Therefore, on my first visit to Texas we HAD to have "real" Tex-Mex. We went to Mi Cocina on a Saturday night and started our night on the bar on the roof which is enclosed... 更多
