Food was hot that is a plus but food lacks flavor. The employees do not speak that good of english so it was hard to try and order something new
This is restaurant we manage to visit every time we are in College Station. Very good food! It's also fun to see the native Chinese gather at the end of the day to eat around a table together.
Made to order fresh Chinese food. Duck was excellent, also tried General Tso's chicken and sesame chicken all were excellent. The vegetarian in our group was happy with the tofu vegetables. Portions were large and price was very reasonable.
Pros: eggdrop soup was good. Wine portion is almost double what it should be. Cons: looks like family owned and that would be a great thing, except that they were constantly fighting and shouting. Chef Cao's offers a nice dining environment, friendly service, and a very good variety of Chinese dishes. It is a great place to go for a nice, quiet, and filling meal.
The place isn't much but it is clean. The food is good and fresh, and employees are decent people. Nothing complicated here to worry about. It would be a great place to join friends for lunch or a place to take the family for dinner.
