We had rented Gargunnock House for 16 of us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and stopped here for coffee, for drinks and for lunch. The staff are all lovely and helpful. The special range of drinks (including whisky and gin of the month) is good. The menu is limited but the quality of the food is good, though not... 更多
Stopped for a quick coffee whilst visiting Kippen and received the most friendly welcome from the two young women in charge. The coffee was the best we'd had in the area and excellently priced. If we'd had time we would have returned to try out the dinner menu.
Definitely not the place it used to be. Menu was not inviting. The specials board had one very special - Ladies and Gents and baby changing facilities??!! The potato and leek in our soup starter was only just cooked. When an ingredient is listed on the desert menu, one would expect it to feature a little larger than a spot... 更多
My husband and I were returning from holiday on Bute and decided to stop for lunch en route. I remembered that I had read good reviews for this Inn and so we decided to eat there. We were immediately given a very friendly welcome followed by an excellent lunch. The food and presentation were of high quality and the coffee... 更多
Stopped off here for lunch en route to Loch Lomond having never been in the place before - and I'm glad we did. Super friendly staff and excellent food. Well worth a visit.
My wife and I recently stayed twice at The Inn, for a total of four nights with dinner each night. The food, both in terms of presentation and quality, was simply fabulous. It was truly a " Master Chef " experience which I recommend unreservedly. Service from most friendly staff was excellent with one of the owners, Mrs Alice Silverwood, on... 更多
This place is a jewel. The menu is special, locally sourced ingredients, good Scottish produce. We enjoyed the sharing platter to start at £13 which was good value for money. Smoked salmon, venison Salame, pate, Ayrshire cheese, bread, oatcakes and chutneys with salad and capers, etc. delicious. A Scottish version of a Mediterranean platter. Mains were a delight: the breast... 更多
Child-friendly pub/restaurant in small country village.Very helpful, polite staff.Good service.Imaginatively combined, well-prepared food, nicely presented, tasty but expensive considering the amounts provided at £75 for shared starter, two venison main courses,2 glasses of white wine,2 diet cokes ,a coffee and a tea.
We had the HighTea menu here on Easter. Sunday. There was 11 of us including 5 children ages from ww months to. 10 years so we wanted somewhere that they could move about without annoying other guests.we were put in what could be described as a small private dining area which we had This was ideal and I would certainly... 更多
We booked 2 weeks before and the Landlady recognised us immediately, good start. Food was excellent but a bit too pricey for a normal visit, However we had a friend visiting so we had a reason. Surprised my chicken did not have any 'veg' accompaniment other than that on the menu so had to ask for some and got a... 更多
