Really good food with some vegetarian options, good dessert, really attractive main dining room.Would definitely go back
We had reservations here and were seated promptly. It was busy but it didn't effect our service. Our steaks were cooked as we ordered them, since we like ours medium rare that seems to be difficult to accomplish at a lot of places. The side salad was excellent. The presentation was nice as well. Our server was attentive but not... 更多
The best part of our meal was the side salad and dessert. The appetizers were over cooked and cold. Main dish was very disappointing. When you spend over $100 on dinner, you expect it to be delicious. The meal was far from being delicious. We will not be a returning customer.
Could you please further specify as to what day you visited in October and what dishes you had so I... 更多
The restaurant is made from a former railroad roundhouse, and the atmosphere reflects old Black Hills money. Our server, Angel, was perfect--very attentive to us. My wife and I both had the steak tips, and they were fabulous. Outstanding food and service--you will not regret an evening here.
Kind of a homey atmosphere, a little removed from the kitsch of Deadwood. Steaks were OK, similar to what you would get at the Longhorn chain. Service was attentive but not intrusive and a familiar wine list with very reasonable markups.
Lead was on our list of towns to visit on our road trip through the Dakotas. Several publications recommended Homestake Chop House and we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! The restaurant itself is elegant with breathtaking chandeliers. Our server was friendly, attentive and eager to please. My husband ordered the Elk Osso Buco and I... 更多
We are a family of 4 on vacation to Lead. Sat in the locomotive table which was unique. The atmosphere is great, elegant, and the chandeliers will take your breath away. Food and dessert were excellent. Total tab was only $117 which included dessert and coffee. Waitress was very attentive. Highly recommended!
Seated beneath a sparkling chandelier, looking out at amazing fall foliage--one can take in a historic railroad roundhouse while enjoying a scrumptious brunch! This restaurant is not to be missed when visiting Lead-Deadwood in the beautiful Black Hills in SD!
I have never been inspired to review a restaurant, but my family just had the most fabulous meal at the Chophouse. We raise our own beef, and the bison and beef here was exquisite and cooked perfectly. It is rare for all of us (two adults, two kids) to be raving about our meals, and everything about our meals was... 更多
