I have visited Sea Captains House many times over the years. I even wrote a very positive review several years back. Unfortunately, I am writing today to rescind that review. I visited Sea Captains in March with a friend for a Sunday brunch. The food kept running out and we would have to wait while it was replenished. The servers,... 更多
Came highly recommended and I'm not sure why.... Food not fresh, very expensive for the quality and service just blahhhh. Musician playing live music outside was best part of entire visit. Sadly don't currently and won't recommend to MB visitors
Great value, lots of choice and quality food describe this breakfast buffet. There is a large selection of hot items(which change depending on the day) including their famous shrimp and grits and biscuits and gravy. Cold cereals, fresh fruit, an assortment of muffins and oatmeal and an omelette bar are also offered . Coffee is not included in the price... 更多
The view is wonderful, this is a VERY busy place. You can expect a wait of 45 min. then when you finally get seated expect 20 min. to get your drink order taken. I am sure this place has excellent food by how popular it is, but we ended up leaving because we never seen out waitress after waiting at... 更多
View is great. Fresh fish. Service is comfortable. Get there early to get a good view. The chowder was tasty, as a New Englander, met my taste expectations.
My fiancé and I haven’t been on vacation in 6 years, and we were really excited to visit Myrtle Beach. On May 12th, we decided to end our vacation by eating some delicious sea food at the highly recommended Sea Captain’s House. We arrived around 6:00, and were told at the door that it would be a few minutes for... 更多
Perfect classy joint with beautiful views. The free bread (hush puppies) were the best we've had. She crab soup was amazing. Followed by a fresh salad. Crab stuffed local flounder with hollandaise sauce was wonderful. My girlfriend had the crab cakes that were full of good crab. She loved them. We were very pleased with this place
First afternoon of our annual BFF vacation and walked to the Sea Captain's House for dinner. The flounder was their local catch and the lighter portion (appx 6 oz) was perfect with the side salad and rice. Cory was a super attentive to us, and very patient considering we had just come from a long, tiring drive.
My wife and I ate dinner at this restaurant while in Myrtle Beach for bike week in May of 2015... service was very good,, we had a very pleasant waitress,, food was good and plentiful and we were seated at a table looking out onto the ocean which made it a very pleasant dining experience... would certainly recommend this establishment
Food was decent, pricing was fair (for the beach area, it's expected to be a bit high). It's your typical seafood casual dining for the Myrtle Beach area. We all had decent meals, the atmosphere was great and a nice view of the Atlantic. Catch of the day was great.
This place lived up to the hype as far as good food and atmosphere but the young dark haired hostess mostly ruined it had it not been for some customer oriented staff who intervened when we were told we couldn't have a table to order some appetizers and drinks while waiting for our guests to join us. Supposedly this has... 更多
Before we (spousal unit and I) went to Myrtle Beach, our neighbor, who grew up there, said to be sure to try the She-Crab soup at Sea Captain’s House because it’s the best in the world. Yeah, I hear that kind of thing all the time but we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is truly classic and... 更多
