I have eaten breakfast at Cindy's many times and have enjoyed them all. Have not had anything I would not order again (and probably have already).
Agree with most of the reviews try the stuffed French toast and the blue cheese bacon and Apple omelette! Not a lot of space for large groups but very comfortable and friendly staff. Baked goods looked delicious behind counter. We went twice in our 3 day weekend!
Cindy's Country Cafe is a quaint, small and always crowded cafe with the best Portugese French Toast in Newport County! It gets crowded in weekends, but the wait is worth it. Try the Omelettes (esoecially the apple with blue cheese!) and eggs Benedict too.
Again,I love breakfast. Trying new places for me is a must. Even if I have to travel outside my comfort zone. Cindy's is country , quaint and cute. For the looks I give it a 3 star. For their food and service I give it a 4 star. Will definitely go back again.
We've driven by Cindy's many times and last week we stopped for lunch. This is a small place with friendly staff. All the food is prepared on-site. We had great turkey soup - it was shortly after Thanksgiving - and excellent sandwiches. Cindy's has a bit of a retro look but was immaculate. We'll stop again.
I've had breakfast and lunch there many times. It's good value for good food. Not expensive and with a fairly small menu they seem to have perfected what they serve there. Good burgers, sandwiches and soups and did I say very good breakfasts as well.
Finally stopped at Cindy's after driving by for years and glad I did. Had the sweetbread stuffed French toast and it was delicious. Will have to stop again and try one of their breakfast dishes.
