Now Murphy's, what a wonderful breakfast and lunch spot! Charming owners, excellent food! Tiny place, it is always full.
Thankfully this place is under new ownership and is 1,000,000% better than the previous owner. It's one of the friendliest places I've ever been to. We decided to give Murphy's a try about 3 months ago when we had an appointment nearby and wanted to go for breakfast first. My husband and I shared a pecan pumpkin pancake, plus I... 更多
1st of all this is now Murphys, not TJ's, I was in the area always want to try different places, not sure when it changed hands, all the staff were very very friendly, it was uncanny it was pretty full which is a good sign, I had the special Philly Omelet with pepper, onions philly steak and cheese, with homefries, I... 更多
After going through a few names and different ownerships throughout the years, TJ Homestyle is back and better than ever. Under new ownership of a young couple and a new chef, this staple of New Cumberland is here to please. Small and cozy, with extremely friendly service! The prices are very affordable, with homemade soups and weekly specials. The chef... 更多
Owner gets hostile and aggressive to those patrons, yes patrons, who don't share his political view. Have seen him tell folks to leave. Very liberal and leftwing, so if you voted to Trump, just stay away. No matter what you might think of the food, this type of intolerance should not be supported!
Under its new owners, this restaurant is called Murphy's. It is a friendly, cozy place. It's only open until 2 pm and serves breakfast and lunch, although you can receive breakfast even at lunchtime. Our breakfast portions were more than ample and very good, including the coffee, which is important at breakfast! I especially enjoy the homemade baked oatmeal. Its... 更多
Kind of smallish portions. I had biscuits and sausage gravy. It came with a single biscuit and a cup out gravy. I left still feeling hungry. But the food was very good and the coffee was excellent. Service is good. Prices are reasonable. I can see myself going back there. I just won't order the biscuits and gravy again.
Ashley has taken my favorite spot for lunch and made it one of my favorite spots period. The homestyle in the name is as accurate a description as a business could have. Look for this small diner to have a big impact on eateries on the West Shore.
Very small and cozy old house on the main street. Food and service is pretty good. Prices are about average for breakfast food. It's really busy here but that can be a problem for such a small place. I would go back and would recommend also. Only opens for a few hours a day, breakfast and brunch only I believe
