Was going to stop for a fast food lunch. When getting off hwy. we noticed John's Italian, then noticed that the parking lot was full; after seeing this, said, "must be good" and it was an excellent place to eat, a real gem with delicious food and great service...Just give it a try!!!
Aunty Miriam took me for an Antipasto at John's Italian, good to see Petey and Jackie and the good people at John's Italian around the holidays, all the stockings are hung by the kitchen window with care and there are good gift certificate deals for all the customers. The soup was potato leek and my Dad enjoyed a big bowl... 更多
This is brand new Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria. Only opened in September. We tried it when they mailed a flyer to our home in Archbald. Parking is in the rear or on the side street. Orders taken and was a bit of a wait. Ordered a chicken salad sandwich and it was full of chicken. Like lots. Also French onion soup that was... 更多
Dad and I went down for the early bird special, weekdays. Coffee, two eggs, home fries, sausage (or bacon or ham) and toast. We had a nice big breakfast and afterward had energy to do our tasks around the house. It was a nice way to start the day. All for under 10 dollars for the two of us, combined.
This place serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is always crowded, a good sign that the food is good and prices not too bad, While the name says Italian, you can get sandwiches and other types of food.
Almost got back into the car because the place looks like it's permanently closed, except for all the cars out front!! The locals sure know where to go. The egg drop, spinach tortellini soup was delicious and it went well with the tomato bruschetta we paired with it. Very glad we ventured in. The people were real nice too!
