Staff is very nice and friendly, joking and making it a fun experience. The food was very fresh and almost too much too eat.
Not sure what the attraction to this spot has been, but I'm not a fan. Issei Noodle in town takes the prize for best Asian cuisine in Carlisle, and Mount Fuji downtown for sushi. It almost felt like our patronage was an annoyance to the staff on a Monday night. One of only 2 groups at the teppanyaki grill, we... 更多
Visited here for the first time and had a wonderful experience. We were greeted and seated immediately (highly recommend reservations on Friday or Saturday nights). The service was friendly and fairly quick. There are a total of 10 hibachi tables; 2 are in a semi-private room you can request for parties. The dinner comes with BOTH fried rice & noodles,... 更多
My husband and I were in town for a car show and spotted this restaurant on our way to get gas. We decided to give it a try for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. I had the shrimp hibachi while my husband opted for the vegetable hibachi. We sat in the dining room as we wanted a quiet dinner... 更多
We had sushi and everything seemed to be just OK, not the best quality (I have paid less for better quality) and was just kind of plopped on the plates. The waitress was adequate and kind off just a server. No reason to go back.
I have been to this place twice and had terrible customer service. Today I just flat walked out. My son just turned 11 and the manager told me he had to order from the adult menu, he said "it is your son's problem if he cannot eat it all and not mine". I also ordered to go once and the... 更多
My friend and I went on a Thursday for lunch, the place was clean and plenty of menu choices. I ordered a specialty roll, Carlisle Roll, that was simply delicious. The wait staff was friendly. We will definitely visit this place again on our next trip to the Chrysler Nationals.
I can't speak to the shushi option but the grilled steak, chicken, scallops and shrimp options are plentiful and delish. Served at large tables with the chef performing knife tricks and shooting saki in diners mouths. Each meal is accompanied with a small salad and copious amounts of noodles and rice. Good family fun.
Sometimes we sit at the hibachi table if it's just two of us, we sit at a booth if there are more in our party. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, the restaurant is comfortable. The hibachi chefs are very entertaining. One of our favorite places.
Carlisle is a town known for vintage and classic car shows. For housing truck and shipping warehouses, farms, etc. It's not known for it's sushi.... for sure. Aya is a decently acceptable place, with it's solid sushi and convenient strip mall location. I wouldn't come back, but only because I have better local options. If I lived in Carlisle or... 更多
