I've been here 10+ times and have never been let down. Consistently incredible food and good service. The menu is small, but fresh and tasty.
In 2016, The Oregonian listed its top ten places for brunch in Portland and I was saddened to see Roost on the list? Why saddened? Because at that point, I knew the jig was up and one of the best yet sleepiest weekend Brunch spots in Portland would be swamped and we'd lose another delicious but quiet spot. And it... 更多
Chef Jordan and Chef Leo were present last night when we dropped by for a drink and a hello. Both were excited about the ribs Megan had created and wanted us to taste: top notch - sizzling/crunchy exterior slow cooked then flash fried to plate, resting on a lagoon of bespoke barbecue sauce, sweet and sumptuous. Brody asked what next,... 更多
Great neighborhood. Tons of places to chose from when dining out so picked this place due to reviews. Service was very good. Food not so much. We found most of the food overcooked and very small servings for the price. Had hoped for more menu choices... in my opinion, very limited options.
We liked the limited menu and the minimalist ambience and our service was excellent! We got there early on a Sunday rainy evening and there was no problem finding a table. We started by sharing the radicchio beet salad with pieces of thick bacon, fresh dill and Italian parsley along with roasted tomatoes with the goat creme on the side.... 更多
I couldn't tell you a more slept on brunch spot in Portland. If you go at open (10am) you'll never have to wait for a table. Order a big bloody mary and their omelette of the day and thank me later.
This eatery gets favorable reviews as one of the cool, hip places to dine in Portland so we tried it for Sunday brunch. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing bad about this restaurant. It's just that it's hype doesn't quite mesh with reality. First, it's expensive for what you get and second, what you get isn't really that great. I... 更多
We went to this place for brunch on Sunday. It's quite small, and there was a line waiting before they opened. The food was not the usual brunch fare, although if you want typical brunch offerings like eggs and bacon and pancakes, they are available, too. I had pork chorizo over cornbread with a sort of avocado salsa and poached... 更多
Roost is my ultimate weekend brunch spot. It's the way perfect way to start the day and I always recommend it to others. However, it can be a pretty inconsistent experience. Sometimes the wait isn't too terrible and other days it's just too much. Service is usually great, but I've also had really negative experiences. I guess you could say... 更多
