Nice place to sit and have a coffee and sandwich. Staff are very helpful and the bread is great. Overall a nice experience
A good location near Price's Bookstore. The pastries are good. I thought the chocolate biscotti was above average, The décor is a little industrial. We're not talking comfy chairs like the Starbucks up the street. I was told that this is a good place for bread but the times I have been there were later in the day and there... 更多
We stopped by for coffee, tea and croissants (wished they had had more chocolate-but the croissants were so flaky we still enjoyed them). We left with two baguettes and a gibassier (to share). All delicious! Our only disappointment was that we didn't buy more! A great stop-we will return.
Yes this is a good bakery, but they tend to change their menu to favor foods that are trending. Like its not a French bakery or a Scandinavian bakery, but they may have a few of those things. Coffee is outstanding, queue moves slowly, a fare amount of regulars. And kind of pricey, this is near enough to downtown that... 更多
Our Concierge at the nearby Marriott told us that Peal Bakery was a great option to experience the local cuisine of downtown Portland. She was so right as the bakery items we experienced were fresh, delicious, all in a really cool setting. It was clear that lots of locals frequent Pearl Bakery. It is a production bakery in the back... 更多
This is one of the best bakeries. I go here multiple times every visit to Portland. The baked goods and coffee drinks are of the highest quality. The service is wonderful and both regulars and tourists seem to visit. Before you leave, don't forget to take home a loaf of bread!
My wife and I had lunch there two days in a row. Reason being--it was so good the first day. It is a very simple place but the sandwiches, soup and pasteries are delicious. I recommend it if you're looking for a place that's not fancy but has good fresh food. Their chocolate chip cookies are wonderful. Coffe is excellent.
