We should have eaten at the 'popular' chowder restaurant in Lincoln City even though there was a wait for parking and a line for tables. There was no wait at Pier 101. All four of us ordered chowder. The few tiny bits of clam in our bowls weren't big enough to get stuck in your teeth. It wasn't inexpensive either.... 更多
We got fresh salads, a bowl of fresh clams with bread to dip in the wine sauce. Amazing. We had a nice booth with excellent service all around. We go there every time we go to Linclon City.
The salad was great! The Roy Rogers was the best I've had! My husband said it best! "My expectations were HIGH after eating the salad and the great Roy Rogers, so when it came to the fish the expectations were shot!!!!!!" The fish was nasty and mushy- I couldn't even eat it- had to drown the potatoes in ketchup! And... 更多
The waitress was really nice and working her butt off to make people happy, but that can be hard to do when the food is less than pleasing. We have eaten here several times during past visits to Lincoln City so it was an easy choice. Unfortunately things were not as we remembered. We visited on a Thursday night and there appeared to be only three people working. We were seated quickly, drink order taken promptly and then the wait began...after about 10 minutes or waiter reappeared to... 更多
This place is pretty spendy. The interior reminds me of a ships hold. Maybe that's what they are shooting for, I don't know. Regarding the food, it is ok.... Pretty much anything with seafood is pretty spendy and in my opinion, there are places that cost about the same, one is in Depoe Bay and gets great "RAVES", and the... 更多
Many restaurants don't have Razor Clams. TheY have a chef that know how to cook them. It reminds me of the great seafood of the PIXIE KITCHEN. They have many entrees tosatisfy your party.
Went to Pier 101 for the first time in 20 years. the Fish and chips were very good with the pier plan potatoes... but the chowder was impossibly BAD! Sorry to say ... if you are on a chowder quest pass this one by. Although the service was good and the other food was good.
