We stopped on a business trip because of its high ratings. Food is disappointing. Turkey tasted like it came from a processed loaf. Sausage tasted processed as well rather than fresh from a local barbecue. Price was reasonable and sides were okay.

This place was recommended by locals. I had the combo with hot links, pork, and brisket. Sides were beans and fried okra. The meats were very good as well as the beans and okra. Reviews were spot on. Some of best barbecue I have ever eaten. Fast, friendly, and lively atmosphere. I had chopped brisket sandwich and cole slaw for lunch.
Ray's offers good BBQ--tender and with flavor, but portions are small and the sauce offerings are limited. It appears to be located in an old converted Pizza Hut.
The BBQ is always wonderful. The wait staff are very friendly and customer service orientated. I thoroughly enjoy it every time we eat here. The only exception is that I don't care too much for the beans. But that is personal preference, as some of our guests love them.
