Great for a beer or a family meet, noisy , crowded but fun--what a pub should be! Do not expect food or fine dining just a good pub.

We went for a beer early Friday night....then left for a meal....then went back after to watch a band (Hardwick Circus). Great night, great atmosphere, good band.....we had shots & can't remember leaving or going home! - Great Pub

In this rather scruffy hotel interior you may enjoy a sort of Bohemian experience along with some very good food and Shepherd and Neame beer par excellance. Limited menu, sort of bistro style, but good value for money.
Had a brilliant night here watching the phenomenal Brother Strut. Great venue, small and friendly with very good sound. Drinks were reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend for a musical night out.
